Priya Pariyachart

25-year-old soprano Pariyachart Sitthidamrongkarn (Priya Pariyachart) began her singing career in Thailand joining the Young Artist Music Program at Mahidol University’s College of Music in 2015. By 2017, she had won 3rd Prize at the Osaka International Music Competition and 1st Prize in the Settrade Youth Music Competition, earning a full scholarship for undergraduate study at Mahidol. In 2018, she performed as the Queen of the Night in a promotional concert for »Mozart at Angkor – A Cambodian Magic Flute.« Despite pandemic-related cancellations, she continued performing, including as a soloist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in 2020. In 2021, she earned a gold medal at the Settrade Youth Music Competition and received the prestigious Ernst Mach Grant to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. In 2022, Priya was a semi-finalist in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition and received the »Development Prize Mascarade Talent Pathway« at Neue Stimmen 2022. In 2024, she premiered the modern opera Labyrinth at Staatstheater Augsburg and performed Mozart’s Requiem at Mozartfest Würzburg. She is currently a member of Mascarade Opera’s Emerging Artists Programme. This season Priya is performing Papagena in Die Zauberflöte both at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden and Nationaltheater Mannheim; Fortuna in L’incoronazione di Poppea at Staatstheater Augsburg.
